After days of drone shows, location clues and increasingly feverish fan detective work, the Gallagher brothers have officially announced Oasis Live ’27, spanning the U.K., Europe, the U.S. and Ireland. The run will begin in Glasgow on May 21 and take in 38 shows across nine countries, with stops in Manchester, Munich, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Paris, Rome, Boston, Las Vegas, Ireland’s Slane Castle and Knebworth. The spectacle transformed the Oasis logo into “4PM BST” and “14.09.26,” while the band’s accompanying video was soundtracked by “Lyla” and “The Shock of the Lightning” — two songs conspicuously absent from last year’s reunion tour setlist. And while Live ’27 will revisit Manchester, where Oasis will play 11 hometown shows at the Etihad Stadium, the band says the rest of the tour will take them to locations they did not visit last time. The dates also include four shows at Knebworth, where Oasis famously played two enormous concerts in 1996, as well as five at Glasgow’s Celtic Park and three each in Boston and Las Vegas. When Liam and Noel Gallagher announced their reunion in August 2024, more than 10 million fans from 158 countries reportedly queued for tickets. Then months after the tour finale in São Paulo, Oasis’ 1995 LP (What’s the Story) Morning Glory? overtook The Beatles’ Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band to become the U.K.’s best-selling studio album of all time. Meanwhile, Oasis: Don’t Look Back in Anger, the Steven Knight-created, Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace-directed documentary chronicling the band’s return, is out now and drawing raves for its behind-the-scenes chronicle of the improbable reunion. As for Oasis themselves, they are keeping the poetry to a minimum and the self-mythology firmly intact. “START THE CELEBRATIONS!!!!” the band declared. “After a period of reflection ‘The Most Damaging Pop Cultural Force in Recent British History’ has declared itself fit for purpose and will once again return to lift the spirits of the people.” “Come witness the fitness,” they added. “It shall be a sight to behold.” Oasis is again using a registration system rather than a conventional general on-sale. Fans must register by Sept. 17 at 8 a.m. PT/11 a.m. ET/4 p.m. BST/5 p.m. CEST for the chance to receive a unique, non-transferable code granting access to an assigned on-sale window. U.S. on-sales will take place by city on Sept. 25. Standard ticket prices range from $122.65 to $541.05, including fees and taxes.
